Japan Itinerary for Food Lovers: Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka Route
How I eat my way through three cities: sushi and izakaya in Tokyo, street food in Osaka, yatai ramen in Fukuoka.

- Budget: Midrange (street food + a few splurges)
Days 1-4: Tokyo (Sushi & Izakaya)
- Eat: Sushi (Ginza lunch sets), ramen (Shinjuku/Ikebukuro), izakaya in Ebisu/Shibuya
- Do: Light sightseeing (Asakusa, Shibuya Crossing at night)
- Tip: Book one nice sushi lunch (¥3k-5k) vs. dinner (¥10k+)
Days 5-7: Osaka (Street Food)
- Eat: Dotonbori takoyaki/okonomiyaki, Kuromon Market seafood, Umeda yakitori
- Do: Castle park morning, Umeda Sky for views, late-night Dotonbori
- Tip: Snack-hop dinner; avoid long sit-downs to try more stalls
Days 8-10: Fukuoka (Ramen & Yatai)
- Eat: Hakata tonkotsu ramen (Ichiran + local shops), yatai stalls by the river, mentaiko on rice
- Do: Canal City, Dazaifu day trip, Ohori Park morning walk
- Tip: Hit yatai early (6-7pm) to get seats; late nights can be packed
Optional Add-On: Hiroshima/Miyajima
- Eat: Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, oysters
- Why: Easy hop from Osaka/Fukuoka if you want history + food
